The drive makes the usual noises, I see the disk lifting up, but it never gets ejected. Instead, the system immediately senses the presence of a disk in the drive and thinks I've just re-inserted a disk. The only way to pull the disk out was the old paper-clip into the little hole business (also known as the Emergency Manual Override). Has this ever happened to anyone? Can it be easily fixed? Can I fix it myself? Please email responses, as I don't check this newsgroup regularly... -- Ed Ravin eravin@dasys1.uucp Programmer-at-Large (a.k.a. cmcl2!cucard!dasys1!eravin) Do androids dream of electric sheep?
