Message-ID: <3813@sdcsvax.UCSD.EDU> Date: Thu, 10-Sep-87 18:58:23 EDT Article-I.D.: sdcsvax.3813 Posted: Thu Sep 10 18:58:23 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 12-Sep-87 10:44:54 EDT Organization: Palomar Software, Inc., Vista, CA Lines: 21 A local developer had two cases custom-made to schlep his Mac II around in. After having our original boxes savaged by the airlines on the trip to Boston, we were convinced of the need for a studier case, and these look like the real McCoy. There are two heavy-duty cases, of the construction and style used by musicians. One holds the Mac II and keyboard (I haven't measured whether it holds the extended keyboard) and the other holds a 13" Sony or Apple monitor. I presume it would handle the (smaller) Apple monochrome but I haven't tried it. The total price is $460, plus shipping and 6% for California residents. Not cheap, but necessary if you plan on taking your Mac II on many trips. If you're ready to buy one today, drop me a line, as I can get a lower price for everyone if I round up an order of 10. -- Joel West (c/o UCSD) Palomar Software, Inc., P.O.
