I have a bibliography for LaTex which contains a couple 
hundred references.  Is there some way to get a formatted
version of it printed without making a dummy document
containing only \ref{...} commands?

Also, does their exist a corresponding package similar
to the refbib stuff for troff bibliographies that work
with latex bibs?
