I tried a couple NY area typesetters listed under "Graphics" in the "MacWorld Directory" but those ads turned out to be pretty bogus. There's an emerging nationwide chain called "Alphagraphics" which does scanning, let's you rent time on Page Maker, does Mac -> L300 printing, etc. but all their jobs have to be mailed to Arizona. What do you folks know about such services in other parts of the country? As a side note, I called over a hundred typesetters, printers, etc. around New Jersey, most of whom advertised "computer printing". About 10% asked "What's a Macintosh?" Over 75% asked "What's Postscript?" And then there was the manager at a major typesetting firm here who laugh wildly and said "You've got to be joking, nobody takes desktop publishing seriously..." paco. ----- ihnp4!opus!paco ... 201/61-L4PAW ...
