Message-ID: <240@spdcc.COM> Date: Sun, 6-Sep-87 02:07:32 EDT Article-I.D.: spdcc.240 Posted: Sun Sep 6 02:07:32 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 6-Sep-87 19:43:02 EDT Organization: S.P. Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 10 With all the segmentation issues, the incredibly complicated "x.out" include file and the lack of documentation, I am at a loss as to how to read kernel data structures out of /dev/kmem based on their symbolic addresses to be found in /xenix. Anyone have any simple boilerplate? Preferably for the 386, but 286 info is interesting. Will calling [nx]list() and then lseeking simply work? How does 'ps' do it under XENIX 386? -- Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.harvard.edu dyer@spdcc.COM aka {ihnp4,harvard,linus,ima,bbn,m2c}!spdcc!dyer
