We have a homegrown application using curses that uses the reverse video
capability to delimit an area for data entry.  However, unless the cursor is
blinking, it disappears in the delimited area.  Fortunately, all of our 
terminals around here that emulate a vt100 have a settable option for a
blinking/nonblinking cursor, except for our sun workstations running
X, and using xterm(10/6.6b).

Has anyone implemented a blinking cursor option for xterm?
Or is there some reason it can't/won't ever be implemented?
