Message-ID: <442@acornrc.UUCP> Date: Sat, 29-Aug-87 20:10:11 EDT Article-I.D.: acornrc.442 Posted: Sat Aug 29 20:10:11 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 30-Aug-87 10:02:16 EDT Organization: Acorn Research Centre, Palo Alto, CA Lines: 15 Keywords: cancel, control I've found that when I cancel one of my own postings by using the 'c' command of vnews, the 'cancel' control message is created with a 'local' distribution. This is not what I want; I want to propagate a cancel message to the network. Am I having this problem because my userid is the ROOTID defined in src/defs.h, or what? -- Bob Weissman Internet: bob@acornrc.UUCP UUCP: ...!{ ames | decwrl | oliveb | apple }!acornrc!bob Arpanet: bob%acornrc.UUCP@AMES.ARPA
