Every once in a while, there is a period of two or three days when
the active file on nysernic gets trashed: it disappears completely.
It seems to correspond to days when there is an unusual amount of 
incoming news.

The error message from inews is:

	Cannot open active (r)

Does anybody have any clue as to what is happening? Any help much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

(By the way, I'm running 2.11 news with patches 1-8 applied).
