Every once in a while, there is a period of two or three days when
the active file on nysernic gets trashed: it disappears entirely.
The occurrences seem to coincide with days when there is an unusual
amount of incoming news.

The error message from inews is:
	Cannot open active (r)

Does anyone know what is happening here? Any help would be much appreciated.

(I'm running 2.11 news with patches 1-6 applied).
