Xref: mnetor sci.electronics:1208 sci.med:3006 there is a class action suit against a few corporations who will remain nameless for the wireless phones they built that had the ringers in the earpiece... if you did not take it off hook before you put it to your ear... well, bye bye eardrum!! this almost happened to me once with a webcor phone, but i do believe that some changes have been made in the portable phone areas regarding this sort of thing. btw-just what can be transmitted over a phone?? what is the bandwidth, and amplitude cielings?? always curious about something....
