If anybody knows whether it uses off the shelf VLSI it would be of help also. I have interfaced a Sony CD player to a digital signal processor. Bascially I can get the 16 bit digital data from the Sony and process it in the DSP and then re-route it back into the Sony's D/A. This was realizable because I had the schematics for the player and data sheets for the Sony chips used for up-sampling and D/A conversion. I like the DX-100 because it is cheap and I feel less guilty cutting into it! Thanks, Charlie Thompson (512)892-6161 evenings (512)440-2939 days
