I'll drink to that! I've had that happen several times. The medical analogy is very apt, at least in my experience. But isn't this the societal aspect of something like math. I can certainly have a background sufficient to understand the material, but one still has to read the stuff. But that's humans protecting their turf, I guess. -- D. E.
