Funny?  It's sad.  Well, sort of tragicomedy.  What the hell (<--obligatory
flamage) *did* he do?  Sure, he was abusive and obnoxious--insightful, wry,
high-quality obnoxious, I might add--but that's not slander.  It didn't
damage whatever professional reputation Tim might have had.  None of
the Brahmsfolx made any insinuations about Tim's technical competence.

I'm flabbergasted at Tim's behavior.  His escalation of harmless and
rather entertaining reparte to written threats of legal action is truly
the mark of a minuscule, insecure, paranoid mind.  No?  So sue me.

It is apparently, in retrospect, true.  But saner heads, especially
Matthew's and his sysadmin's, could not bring themselves to believe that
Tim was serious (at least as I read those 700 lines) or, even if he was,
that he would be taken seriously.  Big mistake.
