  While Tim is brooding over the question of whether he really
wants this thing brought out in the open or not, I thought I
would continue this series of "archives". The letter below really
belonged with the letter of Aug. 1 already published where Tim
"suspected", incorrectly, that Matthew had been told to shut up.
This is presumably supposed to be evidence that I was a part of
this sinister plot. However, it does not take much scrutiny to
notice that in part it is a denial that I had been doing much
flaming of Tim (which I had not been) and an indication I had no
intention of joining this war unless he started down the
censorship road. Of course, unknown to me, he had already begun
to do so and had even already requested I be shut down.

  I don't insult Tim several times a day. In fact, I don't insult
him several times a month. I *do* insult him several times a year,
which is his own damn fault.

 Tim was the one who climed on his white horse and threated to
sue anyone who tried censorship tactics on anyone, "even" the
Brahms Gang. Some of that Gang post *only* articles to sci.math,
and never insult anyone. Nevertheless, Timmy is trying to shut us
up.  Maybe I *should* insult him several times a day:

 Tim, you are an asshole and a pseudo-liberal, crypto-facist anti-
Semitic jackass.
