I think somebody makes one for Suns.  The original prototype for the Teradata
RDBMS machine was a sorting machine, and a large part of the machine is a
sorting network. I don't think any one has ever got rich from the idea, though.
It's a nice idea because sorts can be readily parallel-ized.
