I have to think about buying a quantity (say 50+) of simple (dumb)
Ethernet boards for PCs. Normally these boards are dealt with by a
European agent, which increases the price by a factor a bit in excess
of the straightforward exchange rate between US dollars and Swiss Francs.
I know what I can accept for this factor. However, I do not know what
is the current going price inside the USA for such boards.
If anybody could give me an idea of these prices, either on this dcom.lans
or via personal mail, I should be very grateful.

A second thought: we probably also need to bring Macs into the Ethernet
world. I know about Kinetics, but do not know if Apple can yet provide
a direct connection for the Mac SE.
