our group is looking over emacs alternatives for our internal standard.
we would like to collect the opinions of a number of emacs users on the
various emacs packages available today.

specifically, what is the general opinion of GNU?
              what is the general impression of Unipress?
              know anything about VI-plus?
              whose emacs is fastest?
              whose emacs is most powerful?
              whose emacs is the easiest to integrate into various AI environs?
              etc., etc., etc..

i would appreciate responding to me personally via !ncrcae!gollum!rolandi.
if response warrants, i will summerize opinions and post to this news group.
