We're using 18.47, runs fine, though the compilation of crt0.c generated about 50 warnings because the Encore C compiler accepts #asm directives only under duress. emacs/etc/MACHINES tells you what to do, but it's got a typo: the s-*.h file is s-umax.h, not s-umax4.2.h. -- Karl
