About a year ago, Robert Krawitz posted a chapter he wrote for the not-yet-existent GNU Emacs Programmer's manual, called Lisp Functions and Emacs Commands. It describes Emacs Lisp, the "interactive" function, writing commands in C, and so on. I find it extremely useful. I can e-mail it to you if you want it. Since it is a little long and has already been posted, I'd rather not post it again. -- Ashwin Ram -- ARPA: Ram-Ashwin@cs.yale.edu UUCP: {decvax,linus,seismo}!yale!Ram-Ashwin BITNET: Ram@yalecs
