The second major influence in my decision is that C++ is multiple sourced now and looks more like an emerging defacto standard than Objective-C. PPI's marketing of Objective-C seems quite short sighted..... They could have seeded the world with it a year ago and made it a standard. Now if ATT just bundled C++ with Unix....
