Included in this distribution was the Laxen and Perry F83 distribution for MS-DOS (also PD). I managed to unpack everything ok, however, the when I unpacked the file kernel86.bqk using the program "usq" provided I get the message "bad checksum in kernel86.bqk" . According to the directions for insatlling there is a F83.COM included that you use to run KERNEL86.BLK through to produce KERNEL86.COM. When I run through the KERNEL86.BLK that results from the KERNEL86.BQK with a bad checksum, the program crashes. Could someone send me a uuencoded KERNEL86.BLK? Or recommend another forth system for the IBM PC/XT? -- j UUCP: ...ihnp4!msudoc!eecae!lawitzke ARPA: lawitzke@eecae.ee.msu.edu (35.8.8.151)
