The debate concerns the proper |pronunciation of the C language variable type "char". Who cares?! Don't you guys have better things to argue about? Shades of Gulliver's Travels! No, I'm not going to say how I pronounce "char". If the person I am talking to doesn't grok my pronunciation I switch, then we are in sync again.
