Message-ID: <8710062122.AA22933@brillig.umd.edu> Date: Mon, 5-Oct-87 19:53:00 EDT Article-I.D.: brillig.8710062122.AA22933 Posted: Mon Oct 5 19:53:00 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 10-Oct-87 06:25:16 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Distribution: world Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 17 Approved: laser-lovers@brillig.umd.edu We've been hearing rumblings of yet another verion of DEC's LN03 laser printer - this one being a dual tray version of the standard LN03. Can anyone confirm that DEC has this waiting in the wings? I know that Talaris does have a dual tray laser printer using the same Ricoh engine and it may even emulate an LN03 - how about DEC? Does anyone have much experience with non-DEC laser printers that emulate DEC printers (particularly dual tray)? We've got a few ancient LQP02s that we'd like to get rid of (nightmarish maintenance) but need dual-tray capability (heavy letter correspondence workload). (if I do get a confirmed response, I'll post to laser-lovers). Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael D.
