There has been much discussion of SUPDUP and what "we" might do to
minimize the need for remote echoing.  I think "we" are the ARPANET
community.  Can anyone offer assurance that the ISO community, in the
development of the Virtual Terminal Protocol, is equally interested in
minimizing the need for remote echoing?
