	At the risk of generating a spoiler, writing E------- with
	your f----- (if you've got the source, you know what I'm
	talking about) doesn't seem to work correctly in Nethack 1.4f.
	I was battling Orcs in two different games...in one they
	continued to beat up on me and in the other they thre rocks
	and killed me (though, it is possible that the first instance
	is simply another case of the second).

	Anyone know what might be wrong?  I suppose it's possible that
	this is the way it's supposed to be but I thought that E-------
	was a total truce.

	I doubt it makes a difference in this case, but I'm running
	Nethack 1.4f under IBM DOS version 3.3 on an AT, compiled using
	MSC version 4.0.
