the documentation i particularly missed with my amiga was an 
amigados manual...along the lines of the tear-out technical
reference guide in the middle of amiga world's special issue
1987.
  i could have really appreciated the info command a long, long time
before i found out about it...even ibm dos comes with a manual.
  the introduction to using the workbench was very good though, and
the docs had all the rs-232 pinouts and such.
