I am particularly interested in how its formatting differs from the 5.25 floppies -- such as how many sectors/blocks per track and how many tracks per side. I made an attempt to disassemble the boot code on the 3.5 controller but it didn't take long before it went beyond my meager understanding. I have not seen any published works detailing the innards of this system such as was done by Quality Software for the 5.25 drive in Beneath Apple Dos. If anyone is aware of such a work I would appreciate a line on how to get a copy. Also, if anyone has heard of efforts to develop a nibble copier for the 3.5 I would appreciate info on that as well. Thanks in advance, Eric S. Ford Forde@Eglin-vax.arpa ------
