The current version of TIC doesn't do any emulation to speak of.  The ESC
character is filtered out before printing to the screen.  Other Apple //e
control characters are passed through (except for $1B and $15).  A future
version of TIC will support a few standard emulations though and may allow the
user to define his/her own emulations.
