Come on! Does Apples Ad state that you need AW 2.0. Is AE supposed to tell everybody about ALL of the software that does or doesn't work in the IIgs. How much desktop do you get in a IIgs with AW 1.3 with out any ram card? How much desktop do you get with AW 2.0 with out a ram card? There is a difference. Who is responsible for that? Is AE responsible for installing ProDOS 8 on your AppleWorks disks as part of the expansion so you can use the clock? Try running AW in a IIgs with out our card. Do you get the time display then? No you don't. That is because Apple doesn't supply ProDOS 8 on the AppleWorks 2.0 disks. But you would rather blame AE for it instead of _READING_THE_MANUAL_. AE statess in its Docs that you must have ProDOS 8 on you boot disks, AE even supplies ProDOS 8 on its disks, but is credit given for that, no, you would rather blast AE for not doing everything for you. btw, who do you complain to when you buy Apples card and AW 1.3 doesn't work? dale the opinions expressed here are mine and not Applied Enigneerings.
