When you start throwing blame arpund you had better state all the facts, not just the 'facts' that support your misguided opinion. ALL of the Ram cards for the IIgs that go over 1 Meg have the same "problem", How do you explain that? Could it be that all of the information was not given to hardware developers (all of these ram cards were submitted to Apple _B_E_F_O_R_E_ the IIgs was released. _ALL_ of these memory cards were given the go ahead _B_E_F_O_R_E_ the IIgs was released. So please stop throwing blame around without knowing the facts. btw, I notice that people like to continue to throw blame but don't want to post a work-around for the problem (typical isn't it). In order to work with the AST Visionplus card (the only card that has this problem) you need to have 4 rows of chips instaled on the board, and you need to have any ram above 4 rows assigned to the RAMdisk.
