I would prefer one capable of using GS Smartport interface, as well as Apple //e and //c (Laser 128?) interfaces. [BTW, Can anyone explain to me why the Apple //e doesn't support daisy chaining 5.25 inch disks to the UniDisk 3.5, but the Apple //c can? Is the hardware really different?] I can program around the (soldered-in Yuch!) EPROM onboard the controller, if that's all that's preventing me from doing it. I can sort of understand why Apple may not want to support it on a //e because of the potential for collitions in the disk name space (ie two slot 6, drive 2's). Thanks for your help. - Ralph Hyre
