I am in the process of trying to write my first GEM application.....
whew !!!
I don't have the developers kit, but I do have the sybex GEM reference and
Megamax C. Does anyone have a small example of a GEM program that does 
something like initialize, open a virtual workstation (with a menu bar),
set colors, maybe pump out a dialog box then exit ? I realize that this 
may be asking a lot.....the trouble I'm having with the book is that they
give great full blown examples and documentation, but I'm having a hard
time figuring out which of the many functions I need to use to just 
acheive a (seemingly) simple task like the one described above.
Anyway, if anyone has any code or advice that they think will help me,
I would really appreciate it. Also, if you send me code, please don't
encode it.....I don't have a modem to down load it to my Atari anyway.
