Have any places other than Cupertino, CA gotten the Megas? My dealer down in Texas (no Atari, don't jump on him--he's not selling (or rather, going to sell) Megas mail-order. I was down in Texas this summer, and walked right in to the store, ready to buy. In fact I came back several times... but the Megas never came.... (of course, we all know that). He said he'd ship it to me) seems to think they won't be available until after the 9th, and that Mega 2's are supposed to ship first. Of course now, they've appeared in Cupertino, but they're Mega 4's. Is there any chance that some distributor went and got them from Canada/Europe (hence the high price...?). Do these machines have blitters in them? Are any Mega 2's being sold? (Let me guess, Atari decided to drop the Mega 2's just like the Mega 1's....) Waiting anxiously for news, Scott Udell UD140469@NDSUVM1.BITNET .
