By general consensus, it seems Microport's compiler isn't all that swift (seems to be a bit buggy), but I haven't seen performance numbers on it, and I thought Dhrystone was fairly compiler-independent. (showing my ignorance again... :-) Has anyone run it under Microport? How fast was it? I'd like to run it myself, but have never seen it. Where can I obtain a copy? Is it PD, or is there money involved? Does it float around the net at times? If it's PD, would some kind soul mail me a copy? (Please E-mail first, if you do...my /usr filesystem runs mosty full.)
