Message-ID: <247@csccat.UUCP> Date: Tue, 22-Sep-87 15:34:35 EDT Article-I.D.: csccat.247 Posted: Tue Sep 22 15:34:35 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 26-Sep-87 00:55:59 EDT Organization: Computer Support Corporation. Lines: 19 Keywords: MSC spawn Xref: mnetor comp.sys.ibm.pc:8177 comp.lang.c:4498 I think this problem has been hashed out before here but I will ask it anyway. :-) Problem is: When we use spawn in MSC 4.0 on a 80286 machine we trace the spawn code all the way down to the INT to dos, however when dos returns from the interrupt it does so about 1000 bytes below the interrupt in garbage. This does not happen on all 286 machines but happens only on machine running dos 3.1, 3.2 , or 3.3, unfortunatly we do not have access to the machines that do blow up as they are at customer sites. Please email responses as I don't have comp.lang.c in my sys file. Thanks Jack Hudler {ihnp4|cbosgd}!killer!csccat!jack -- See above (214)661-8960
