I agree, but the 1.3 release (Beta) is based on the V/AT version 2.3 kernel
which fixes the 9600 baud serial port problem, the clock problem, and many
others.  Look for a "real" release in October.

Several things.  The Exelan product is also avaliable from Microport for
use with their 2.2 and 2.3 kernels.  NFS is in the works (from Exelan).

The C compiler from MicroSoft (Xenix) IS the MSC 4.0/5.0 compiler avaliable
for MSDOS.  It supports ANSI C, is fast, and it can cross compile to DOS.  
In fact, the "help" message produced with cc -help gives the SAME options
as the DOS version, complete with '/'s instead of '-'s :-)
The Xenix compiler blows the pants off the pcc from AT&T, I just wish it did
COFF :-)
