I have a program that reads a lot of input and performs various calculations. Is there a way of being able to provide some input (say half of the total input required), save the current data and variables on disk, turn the machine off, and then come later on another day and pick up where I left off? For some reason, I can post articles to this newsgroup but cannot read them?! Thus, I would be grateful if any advice is returned to me directly. Many thanks in advance.
