Lines: 17 I am looking for information on IBM's BIOS upgrade. The upgrade kit has been discontinued so I tried trading in the old BIOS for a new one. Now my machine doesn't know what's going on. The dealer says I need to replace the 16K banks of memory on the motherboard with 64K sets. I don't have the tech reference or pinouts on the chips but this sounds like BS to me. I would appreciate hearing from someone who knows what else needs to be done to finish the upgrade. E-mail would be best, no sense cluttering up the net.
