About university discounts on the MacIntosh ---

1.  Here at the U of I, Apple also discounts software.  I think it is
discounted to $50 for macWrite, $50 for macDraw, and $62 for macPaint.

2.  When is the Imagewriter LQ due to be released?  I am suprised that
Cornell already has pricing.  The salesman here in town says Apple has
begun shipping these printers yet.

From what I have heard, part of the price discrepancies might be caused
by the overhead at YOUR UNIVERSITY PURCHASING DEPARTMENT.  Two
Independent dealers in town handle MacIntosh Sales, and they told me
you write the check to UI, and the UI gets the Macintosh from its
central storehouse, where they are stockpiled.
