We both, on our other machines, have gotten used to a fairly cluttered desktop with folders laying about for easy access. Trouble is that we're very much used to our DIFFERENT styles of laying things out. What I'm looking for is a simple program that will "swap" between two or more desk setups. I tried the obvious (well...) and renamed the desktop file while the finder wasn't running, but that didn't do the job and only succeeded in confusing the finder. If anyone knows were the information of where things out on the desktop are stored so I could maybe put something together that will pull this off (at least until multi-finder reaches us mere mortals). -- michael
