I am the proud owner of a new Mac II.  I have several programs that allegedly
"talk", such as the talking moose, talking keyboard, and a program that I 
actually paid money for called "KidsTime".  None of these programs do any
talking, though.

Is the Mac II sound interface different than other Macs?  Is my machine
broken?  What's going on here?
