It is nothing short of fantastic: at least it will be when all the discrepancies between it and some applications have been sorted out. I have been running applications created by Microsoft FORTRAN v2.2 with QUED/M and the fortran compiler on a 2Mbyte Mac// with Juggler. I find that I am dropped into Macsbug (v5.3 for 2Mbyte Mac// from CIS) when the application finishes. This occurs both with McFace.sub and with the dumb terminal window. I can run the same application under F5.5/S4.1, which came with the Mac//, and I get an error 64 (drive not installed) which is displayed by the error handling routines installed in the application. The exit to Finder is then smoothly executed. But when I am dumped into Macsbug 5.3 from Finder6.0b3, I cannot exit to shell and must reboot. Can anyone suggest an alternative context switching environment to use until the Juggler is officially released without the gremlins? Many thanks. ------------------- W.
