I just tried running the latest version of the Talking Moose (ver 1.2) on my SE (System 4.1/Finder 5.5), and it bombed right away. Using FEdit, I searched for 02B6 (the reserved address that some applications use, but which System 4.1 wants to use also), and changed it to 0A80 (the second 4 bytes in the application scratch area, since 0A78 was being used), but the program still bombed. Changing to 0A84 didn't work either. The old version of Talking Moose (1.1) bombs sometimes upon Startup, and sometimes just bombs later on. Is there anything I can do to fix the program, or is another version coming out soon? Thanks in advance, Ben Waldman waldman@endor.harvard.edu
