Now, while this is evidently a very interesting topic for those who are participating in the discussion, I suspect that most have failed to notice that it is being posted to four newsgroups, of which few (if any) are relevant. The only possible connection with comp.lang.{c,pascal} is if you are talking about {c,pascal} manuals, and even if you are, I doubt that this is within the charter of these newsgroups.
