I would be pleased to help out a little via EMail. Set one is getting the spec itself. I got mine from Aldus. It defines the file format and the tagged data. Hint: the bitmaps are at STRIPOFFSETS. Reading the tag files generated by a single application is easier than being wonderfully general, and reading is easier than writing.
