I got a 20 Meg hard card for my Tandy 1000 from the "Hard Drive Specialist." They advertise in "Computer Shopper." It was quite a good price for the size, although I forget exactly what at the moment. One thing I did notice was that I DID NOT have to replace my ROM's. I haver the original ones in there (my machine is one of the old T1000's, so yes, I SHOULD get the upgrade, but haven't had a need to yet). I've been using the drive extensively for over 9 months now, with no burden on the power supply, or (not obviously) on the cooling system. Also, my drive came pre-formatted, which was nice. All I had to do was plug it in and boot!! Steve Cooper p.s. - I don't have any connection with the "Hard Drive Spec." - just a very satisfied customer... -- Steve Cooper scoop@aplvax.arpa
