Firmware is available for about $40 and involves changing the processor and
firmware chips.  Recommended tools are No. 2 phillips screwdriver and IC chip
remover.  Although you have to dismantle the terminal a bit, it isn't a
particularly difficult task.  You should check with your dealer/distributor
for availability.
