An optional file is now available with XBBS which allows the code to compile
on 3Bs. Therefore, XBBS use is no longer restricted to Xenix systems. It will
now compile on AT&T 3Bs.

[I'd be willing to bet that this means that it will compile on about any
standard System V system.  -mod]
