I'm posting this for a friend, so please direct mail replies to

The question is this:

We are thinking about dropping our DEC maint contract on our 11/780 (braggvax).
Does anyone have any experiences (positive or negative) about third party
maintenance or DEC per call maintenance that would be helpful to us in deciding
whether to do this or not?  Anyone who's particularly good or bad?

Our environment is 4.3BSD Unix (not VMS).
