Why does a floating point benchmark(all in memory) of mine run 50% slower
on Ultrix than VMS? The tests were conducted on the same machine
using the VAX-C compiler and G_float in both cases. The only
difference that I can imagine is run-time library support. 

Is the Ultrix RTL that slow?
